Home of the BSAT collection

Welcome to the website of the British Sporting Art Trust. Have a look round to find information about our collection, library and archive. You can find out more about how we promote British sporting art and see information on how to become a member.

Since its foundation, the BSAT has striven to create a national gallery dedicated to British sporting art. This year in collaboration with the National Horseracing Museum and the Retraining of Racehorses Charity, the BSAT moved to Palace House, National Heritage Centre for Horseracing and Sporting Art.

The Fred Packard Museum and Galleries for British Sporting Art, is situated in the remaining portion of Charles II's racing palace in the Heritage Centre. The centre now provides a permanent home for the BSAT's collection of sporting art and the BSAT Paul Mellon Library and archive. This collection form the foundation of the displays which brings together the best of the genre from both public and private collections.

The Trust is an independent charity. Our registered charity number is 274156.
